Hi, my name is Jose, and I am an artist and community builder based in Miami, FL.

I currently manage sales, operations, and community development at Miami’s Cambridge Innovation Center, and am a Global Shapers Fellow at the World Economic Forum.

My professional background is in a mixture of local politics, consumer law, non-profits, academic fundraising, early childhood education, and higher education.

I am also a Masters graduate from the University of Chicago’s Committee on International Relations. My personal, academic research examines the interplay between digital communications structures and regulatory institutions in Western democracies. In particular, I look at mass surveillance as it relates to the logics of ideological insularity, and the social and political organizations that play a role in its maintenance and transformation.
